Guy Bourbonnière actively participated in the production of the book Cidres du Québec, by Guillaume Leroux and Alexis Perron, published in 2009.
As a sommelier, Guy demonstrated his great respect during the tastings, because he understands the amount of effort and passion that producers expend in developing their products.
While working on this book, Guy developed a deep and sincere interest in products originating from Québec.
Guy Bourbonnière is currently working on a new book that will cover both Québec and Canadian wines.
He is now in the research phase, visiting wineries and tasting their products, something that has allowed him to make a sort of wine pilgrimage through the heart of the country. This lengthy tour has only confirmed his unshakeable enthusiasm for the quality of our locally-produced wines.
He is firmly convinced that it is high time we discovered the little gems in own backyard, coming from the fruitful endeavours of Québec and Canadian winemakers.
